BioI have a PhD in ancient history with minors in women's history and folklore from Indiana University. I research cultural, intellectual and popular history with a focus on gender, sexuality, mythology/legends, slavery and how all of these interact in the ancient world. I'm starting this LiveJournal to share my love of and frustrations with being an ancient historian in the 21st century.
